Terms and Conditions

1. Pricing

All prices quoted are exclusive of, but not limited to, tolls, congestion charges, fuel, additional expenses, and VAT, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

2. Waiting Time

AUTOLINK LOGISTICS reserves the right to charge waiting time at the agreed rate for any delays outside of our control that impact the movement of the vehicle.

3. Vehicle Condition

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any vehicle presented for movement is roadworthy and holds a valid MOT certificate where required. Failure to meet these requirements may result in an aborted movement fee.

4. Cancellations

AUTOLINK LOGISTICS reserves the right to charge the full agreed fee if a booking is not cancelled before 14:00 on the working day prior to the scheduled movement.

5. Breakdown & Recovery

In the event of a breakdown, AUTOLINK LOGISTICS can arrange recovery services at cost plus a 20% administration fee.
All costs will be confirmed with the customer in writing prior to proceeding.

If the customer chooses to arrange their own recovery, a waiting charge of £30 per hour will apply.

6. Road Risks

AUTOLINK LOGISTICS will not be held responsible for unavoidable, non-fault damage caused by road conditions or debris, including (but not limited to) stone chips.

7. Tyres & Wheels

No responsibility will be accepted for tyre or wheel damage caused by circumstances outside of our control, including punctures or mechanical failure.

8. Damage & Claims

In the event of an accident requiring repair:

  • For claims under £2,000: Two repair estimates must be provided for approval before work begins.

  • For claims over £2,000: Claims will be processed through our insurance provider in place at the time.

AUTOLINK LOGISTICS will be responsible for any applicable insurance excess.
We will not be liable for any consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of use, downtime, or loss of profit.

9. Vehicle Appraisal (Inspect & Collect)

Where inspection services are provided, customers will be informed of any conditions affecting the accuracy of the appraisal, including but not limited to:

  • Poor lighting

  • Adverse weather

  • Vehicle cleanliness

If the customer chooses to proceed under these conditions, any additional issues identified upon delivery will not be the responsibility of AUTOLINK LOGISTICS.

If a collection is cancelled at this stage, the movement will be charged in full.

Please note: Our drivers are not qualified mechanics and cannot be held responsible for mechanical faults. A short test drive can be carried out upon request to identify obvious issues.

10. Payment Terms

Full payment must be made within 30 days from the invoice date.
Any queries raised after this period will not affect the requirement to settle the invoice within the agreed terms.

11. Proof of Delivery

Once a vehicle has been signed for upon delivery, responsibility transfers to the customer. No claims will be considered after this point unless documented appropriately.

12. Damage Reporting

Any damage must be recorded on both the Proof of Collection (POC) and Proof of Delivery (POD).

Claims for damage not noted at delivery must be submitted in writing within 3 working days. Failure to do so will result in the claim being rejected.

AUTOLINK LOGISTICS reserves the right to obtain an independent repair estimate.

13. Electric Vehicles

All electric vehicles must be fully charged at the point of collection to complete the journey or reach a charging point safely.

AUTOLINK LOGISTICS LTD reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
